Matt started at Enoggera Baptist Church as Senior Pastor in May 2013. He returned to Brisbane after spending the previous four years as Youth and Communities Pastor at the Alice Springs Baptist Church. Matt is no stranger to the Enoggera area, growing up in Everton Hills and attending school locally. He became a Christian at age 17 through the witness of some school friends and felt a call to pastoral ministry soon afterwards, pursuing further study and pastoral experience.
Matt met his wife Elise through WEC camps at Mt Tamborine, and they discovered a shared love of baklava, adventures and serving Jesus in ministry during a short-term mission trip to Bulgaria. They were married several years later in 2007. In July 2014 their family grew to three, welcoming their daughter Florence Joy and in 2017, grew again with the birth of Ayala Grace.
Matt enjoys a good game of squash, all things technology and genuinely funny puns. Matt is passionate about biblical-centred teaching and gospel-driven evangelism. He is excited about the gospel reaching into the Enoggera community and seeing Jesus change lives.
Mike has been part of Enoggera Baptist Church since 2007 where he matured in the faith and over the years developed a call to ministry. He grew up in Brisbane's north western suburbs and has always called Brisbane home.
In 2013, Mike left his career in Structural Engineering to begin his theological training and become an intern at EBC part-time and in November 2015, Mike was called as an associate pastor.
Mike met his wife Larissa at school, having grown up together in the same year at school, and became good friends in high school. They got together years later during their time at university and were married in 2011. In November 2016 they welcomed their beautiful daughter Lucy Rose.
