Enoggera Together is a relaxed community gathering hosted by Enoggera Baptist Church, bringing local people together over coffee, breakfast, games and conversation.
It's a place to meet your neighbours, make new friends and enjoy being part of the community. Whether you've lived in Enoggera for years or are new to the area, we'd love you to join us.
Why Enoggera Together?
We live close to one another, but it's not always easy to get to know the people around us. Life is busy, routines fill our weeks, and opportunities to connect don't always come naturally.
We believe that a good community is built when people take the time to notice one another, share a conversation and build genuine friendships.
That's why we started Enoggera Together. We want to create a welcoming space where people can slow down, meet someone new and enjoy the simple goodness of being together.
Sometimes it starts with a coffee. Sometimes it's a conversation while the kids play, a game of mini golf, or a bacon and egg roll shared with someone you've only just met. Small moments can be the beginning of meaningful relationships.
People, not projects
At the heart of Enoggera Together is a simple desire: to love our neighbours.
We don't want people to feel like they need to know someone, belong to a particular group or have everything figured out before they come along. You don't need to be a churchgoer, bring anything special or have a particular reason for being there.
We want to get to know people, hear their stories, share some laughs and build friendships that matter. Not because we're trying to tick a box, but because we believe people are worth knowing and genuine relationships are worth making time for.
Why a church?
Enoggera Together is an initiative of Enoggera Baptist Church, and our desire to love our community grows out of our Christian faith.
Jesus calls us to love our neighbours, and we want that love to shape the way we live among the people around us. For us, that means more than opening our church doors on a Sunday. It means looking for ways to serve, welcome and build relationships with the people who make up our local community.
As friendships grow, conversations sometimes turn to life's bigger questions: what we believe, where we find hope, and what it means to know God. We're always happy to talk about Jesus and the hope we have in him, while listening respectfully to the questions and perspectives of others.
There's no pressure to have those conversations, and no expectation that everyone will share our beliefs. We simply want to be genuine friends, love our neighbours well and be open about the faith that motivates us.
There's a place for you
Whether you're a long-time local, new to the neighbourhood, coming with your family or simply looking for a chance to meet some people, you're welcome at Enoggera Together.
Grab a coffee, enjoy some breakfast, have a go at the games and introduce yourself to someone new. You don't need to know anyone before you arrive.
