EBC Prayer Night

We are calling the church to a night of dedicated prayer. This night is a corporate expression of our faith and dependence on God as our provider of all that we need. We will be joining in prayer for our church and community, confessing our sin and seeking God's power and protection over our church family. Make an extra special effort to make it along, and encourage others to do the same.

Note: There will be no small groups meeting this week as all small groups will be attending.

So, how will the swap work?
~ Great question, we’re glad you asked!

There are a few different ways to run a clothes swap, here’s how we do ours… It all starts with clearing out your wardrobe and bagging up those clothes that no longer fit, you don’t wear, or no longer need. Your clothes for swapping are to be dropped off prior to the event, this is to allow time for sorting and arranging to make things run smoothly on the night. There is no set limit for how many clothes you would like to donate to the swap and in return, no limit for how many you collect! We just ask that any clothes, shoes or accessories donated, be of good, second-hand quality and be clean – ie. keep those smelly socks please!

We operate on the principles of fun, friendship and fairness and want everyone to leave having enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, given some old treasures a new home, and hopefully having met some new faces over dessert and a nice warm cup of tea! So spread the word, the more the merrier!!

Further details about times for dropping off clothes to Enoggera Baptist Church or The Nest Community will be posted here on our facebook event and page. Collection will start in August.

Please also check out our “About” section on the Enoggera Baptist Clothes Swap Community page for more answers to frequently asked questions. ‘Like’ our page to keep up to date with any new information. If there is something you would like to know that is not answered here, please send us a message and we will be more than happy to answer!
